Lesley Farrell is Professor and Associate Dean Research and Development in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at UTS. Her research interests are in language and social change in globalising workplaces and in the policy dimensions of workforce development more generally. She has a PhD in social linguistics and education from Monash University and worked at Deakin University and Monash University before joining UTS in 2008
